Oral Presentation by PowerPoint

a) Presentation media
All oral presentations must use computer-aided illustrations. Presentation using a slide, an overhead projector or your own laptop computer is not accepted. We request that you bring along your USB flash memory or CD-ROM loaded with your presentation prepared using the Microsoft Windows PowerPoint 2003 program (or an older version of Windows).

b) PC-check and submission of your PowerPoint file
Please bring your presentation file to Room 202 (PC & Coffee Break Room) on the 2nd floor before your session (as scheduled below). Your PowerPoint file must be (1) checked using our computer to ensure that it works properly; and (2) submitted by copying it into a specified holder of our computer. Our staff will then transfer your copy to the main computer in the session room before your session begins.
1. If you have your oral presentation in the morning, please submit your files at the latest by 17:00 on the day before your presentation.
2. If you have your oral presentation in the afternoon, please copy your files before 12:30 on the day of your presentation.

The secretariat strongly recommends that you check your presentation files carefully, especially if you have inserted movie, audio, or other multimedia files into your presentation. Please do not use 2-byte characters (Japanese, Chinese etc.) in your presentation, because it often corrupts the layout of your files. The secretariat will delete your files after presentation from our computer at the end of each day.
