On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to cordially invite you to attend the 4th Conference of the APACE that will be held in Tsukuba (Japan), September 10-14, 2007.
The aim of the meeting is to bring together people, from young researchers to experienced leaders, working on all aspects of Chemical Ecology, from marine to terrestrial organisms including human beings. There will be four plenary lectures and several keynote speeches delivered by world renown scientists from various fields of chemical ecology such as - aquatic chemical ecology, pheromone molecular biology and applications, plant allelochemistry, multitrophic interactions, forest ecology and so on. In addition to invited contributions for various symposia, the meeting has been designed to accommodate poster contributions and oral presentations.
Tsukuba Science City is located ca. 50 km from Tokyo. There are more than 30 national research and educational institutions and many private research institutes in the city. You will see many chemical ecological activities within the Science City. The APACE 2007 conference will be held at the International Congress Center EPOCHAL Tsukuba.
